My dad grew up in Virginia. We decided to stop at the Italian Bakery as he went there many times as a child. The moment we walked in the door, the middle-aged, tattoed, wannabe rebel behind the counter could not have been more put out to help us purchase anything. She actually signed heavily when we didn't know what we wanted immediately. Seriously, who is a jerk to an 85 year old?! It was stunning. Never again.
