One reason is that the drinks are often times a bit too strong to the point of sometimes being unpalatable.
While quite the popular place towards the end of a Friday or Saturday night in Virginia, I prefer to take my business elsewhere unless others really wish to go here.

So for for this as well as other reasons such as the atmosphere, I much prefer Rainy Lake or the Taphouse.
Suspicious to say the least, terrible drinks and a shiesty bartender to state the obvious. I won't be returning if I have the choice

My bigger gripe is actually due to one particular bartender. This person has, on multiple occasions, given me change shorted by anywhere from $20-70. The same unnamed bartender has also charged for double, when opening a tab. The situation is usually rectified right away but as this has also happened multiple times to several friends and acquaintances (and my significant other), I have no choice to believe that this is intentional.
During my last visit a tall, bearded bartender tried to give me less than $20 back on a $100 bill for a single drink by including over $10 in ones. That was only my second time visiting flaimer's but a very similar situation happened the last time I was here, with the same bartender.
