I had a bag of 1/2" nuts and some 1/2" washers. The washers didn't have a tag on for the price. The cashier called Dave for help and Dave called someone to check on a price. A gentlemen came up to the till and looked at the washers. I asked Dave if the guy could bring the nuts back as the bag had a good size tear in it. Dave said the guy wasn't coming back. I asked twice to get a new bag. I told Dave it was poor Customer Service. Dave said it was my opinion. I asked for a Manager. I explained to him what happened and he agreed he shouldn't have said that. The Manager said that this is over a $1.50. I got pissed and my voice rose up so he could hear me. He said I was bulligerant and to stop yelling. He then said they didn't want me in the store. I did leave. At this time I'm bringing what I bought back and won't go back to the Virginia Menard's. Very poor service. Rate it a One.
Good Menards. Generally well stocked and very friendly and helpful staff.
They didn't have what I was looking for, but honestly, I didn't think they would. The staff I encountered was nice. The place was pretty clean, especially since it looked like they were putting away freight.
The people are very nice. Store is clean and easy to navigate.
To busy people are nuts everything all over store not where it should be but I guess if u want stuff u need u need to shop thru out the whole store
