If I could give this horrible hotel negative stars, I would. This place is COMPLETELY terrible! We have traveled to this hotel for 15 Years. They bumped us for no apparent reason. They said our credit card wasn't valid! To make this more clear, we used the credit cards THIS MORNING! My husband called the manager and he said he didn't have enough authority to get a hotel room! My 10 year old daughter was even crying in the corner and they refused to help us. This place screwed us over! We drove 10 hours to stay at a hotel that we thought was great. After this experience we are never coming back to Americinn EVER! I hope the manager is reading this, and if he is, make your hotel better or we're never coming back! Do yourself a favor and drive 5 minutes up the road and stay at the Holiday Inn Express. They were so wonderful and offered to find us a room, unlike this crappy place that said sorry, we can't do anything for you. Thanks for nothing AmericInn!
We had my son's birthday party there. Although the cost of the party room was a bit high, it was a nice location overall
Nice rooms and lobby. Pleasant staff. Decent contenental breakfast. Decent pool. The biggest knock is the hotel is right next to a rail road crossing, so the train will blare it's horn at night as it passes by. The hotel does provide complementary ear plugs to help accommodate for the noise.
I enjoy staying at AmericInn hotels. This location is clean and staff is friendly. Beware of very loud train noise...all throughout the night. They give you earplugs even. Also, the shower pressure was so high it was unpleasant to take a shower. Overall, this is a nice place but I probably will not stay again due to the train noise.
